Katekyo Hitman Reborn! or literally read as Katei Kyoshi Hittoman Reborn! 家庭教師ヒットマン REBORN!, (in English as Home Tutor Hitman Reborn!), is an ongoing Japanese manga written and illustrated by Akira Amano. It is serialized in Japan in Weekly Shonen Jump, a shonen (for boys) magazine run by Shueisha. The individual chapter is release every week. There are also 20+ volumes had been published to date. The series
also have an anime adaptation produced by Artland and airing on TV Tokyo, a japanese televsion network. There are 150+ epsiodes to date, still on going.
The story is about a 14 years old kid named Tsunayoshi Sawada. On the arrival of a mysterious infant named Reborn, he said that he is the next in line boss of the most powerful Mafia family – The Vongola. The reason why he was chosen was all the candidates unfortunately met their maker (they died), making him the only to take the position.
It was the current leader Vongola IX that sent Reborn to tutor him on his quest to become the well deserved boss of the family. Under the strict and harsh training program of Reborn, Tsuna unwillingly take them all. Tsuna and his “training” with Reborn led him to difficult (but humorous) situation but in the end he managed to face them all. Gradually he is adapting to his new life and the future ahead of him.
