Tsuna’s life before Reborn came is plain boring. He had no friends; people tagged him as a loser, or “no good Tsuna” to be precise. Kids from his school bully him ending up him going home in the middle of the school day. But everything changed when this little hitman invaded his boring life. He is now facing a life as a future leader of strong mafia family.

Reborn; Chapter 1: That Guy from Italy
It may seem Reborn doesn’t think of Tsuna considering how ruthless he is when it comes to training Tsuna. His teaching method are beyond words but regardless how harsh Reborn to Tsuna appear, the truth is he cares a lot about Tsuna’s welfare, and likewise Tsuna to Reborn. And I think Reborn only has the best intentions, he is a baby man of his words. He jokingly said he considers Tsuna as toy (lol) but I beg to differ. Nobody can understand Tsuna better than him. In my opinion, nobody is happy to see how Tsuna matures throughout the series than Reborn. They have strong bond that they both understood each other. He knows how Tsuna thinks, he know how will react, and happy how Tsuna slowly mature after the trials they faced together. Lal mentioned during their training in the future arc that Tsuna’s resolution and Reborn's understanding of him is remarkable. It was formed during the countless trials they faced together.
So no matter what happened, their teacher-student relationship is firm, Reborn and Tsuna is a team, shares a bond, which I find inseparable.
